SONG OF THE DAY: 'You Know It' by Colony House

    Calling a song a "summer jam" is cliche but when I listened to "You Know It" from Tennessee-based indie rock band Colony House, I seriously asked myself, "Could this be the song of the summer?" It's a carefree track with guitars flailing everywhere. A bit reminiscent of Vampire Weekend, there are a ton of retro, beachy moments. The song is all about someone who has to leave San Francisco for love, but they plan on coming back ASAP. Because who would leave San Fran? It's fortunately good enough to inspire this warm weather track.

    The track is off of Colony House's forthcoming album, Only The Lonely, out September 16. We're excited to hear new music from the rising band, especially in their new perspective after experiencing life on tour.
