Single Serving: Hey Day's 'Adderall' Is a Stimulating Love Song

This one comes with a familial back-story. I'm a triplet (three guys) whose dream of becoming the next Hanson or Jonas Brothers was quickly dashed upon realizing that two thirds of the band would have absolutely no musical talent. Luckily, the youngest brother, Andrew, found his stride playing guitar in Hey Day, a NYC by-way-of UPenn pop rock band that was recently nominated for the Macy's iHeartRadio Rising Star Contest. After months of badgering our managing editor Matt Howard about how great my brother's band is, I finally caught his attention with Hey Day's study drug single.

"Adderall", Hey Day's second single, is an infectious track that will stimulate your mind with its skillful wordplay ("looking Adderall the time") and late-song voice modulation (think a poppier "Diane Young"). Be on the lookout for more catchy tunes from this up-and-coming trio of former Ivy Leaguers, featuring Jesse Fink's lead vocals, Andrew Underberg's production and of course, Andrew Spelman's lead guitar.
