We're finally on the verge of being finished with our rollout of another year's worth of killer exclusive Baeble sessions from Austin when we make our annual trip down to SXSW. And whether you were jonesing the instrumental elegance of City of the Sun, the child star maturation of Cody Simpson, or the rock & roll machismo of X-Ambassadors, we had something for you. And, to add to our growing vault of necessary sets for all the indie hip-hop heads out there, we present Doomtree.

The Minneapolis (go Vikes!) alternative hip-hop collective Doomtree has been making music together for over a decade now, and while they're hip-hop icons in their native Midwest, the traction has been a little slower to build nationwide but the touring buzz for this band is swelling like an avalanche and the sheer energy of their live sets is finally handing them the recognition they deserve. And with the release of the band's third official LP, All Hands, earlier this year, Doomtree's ascendancy into the upper echelons of alt-hip hop is all but assured.

But, we're not here to talk to you about Doomtree's long overdue ascendancy. We're here to say that they set a bar for energy and hip-hop swagger at our SXSW showcase that few other bands throughout the city could have hoped to match. We've shot some great sets over the years in all genres, but few come close to capturing the high octane presence that Doomtree delivered for every second they were on stage. Snag the preview of the session below which drops tomorrow. You'll want to be there.
