Ever since his assault on Rihanna in 2009, the name "Chris Brown" has become almost synonymous with domestic violence. Over the last 7 years, we've watched Brown fall from grace after he brutally attacked his girlfriend at the time, Rihanna, and though he denies it, proceeded to get a commemorative tattoo
in her bruised and beaten likeness.
Now that he's been accused of threatening his tour manager, Nancy Ghosh, I can't imagine anyone's surprised after his multiple headlines--arrests, assaults, felonies. After Brown cornered her in a drug-fueled outbreak
, she left the tour bus and quit on the spot. on May 23. Ghosh, who's worked with artists like Justin Bieber
, Kanye West
, Miley Cyrus
, and Jennifer Lopez
, is now suing Brown after claiming she felt unsafe and that he was "irrational and high on drugs," while threatening to do to her "what he did to Mike G."
In case you missed it, Brown was also sued
by his manager Mike G just last week for attacking him so viciously it landed him in the ER - this is the same guy he hired in 2012 to help revive his image after the highly public domestic violence incident with Rihanna. Mike G. also claimed that Brown was bragging to his friends about it and telling people working on his tour that if they stepped out of line, he would do the same to them as he did to Mike G. Well, doesn't that sound familiar.
A production manager on Brown's tour also apparently complained through his lawyer, confirming that he was being threatening and verbally abusive. Obviously, Chris Brown's antics have had an impact on his career, and yet he's still being compensated generously enough to keep hiring an entourage of people to abuse. How much more are the music community and fans going to put up with? The fact is, Chris Brown is a dick and it's time we start treating him like one.
