For his latest project John Dufilho (The Deathray Davies, Apples in Stereo) possibly nicked the namesake of John Singer Sergent; an American portrait painter famous for "his evocations of Edwardian era luxury". Luxury...it seems something Dufilho enjoys, in company at least. His album John Singer Sergeant: The Music and Words of John Dufilho attracted a gaggle of guest singers...one for every song in fact. Perusing through the album expect to hear contributions from Sarah Jaffe, Chris Walla, Robert Schneider, and Rhett Miller. His song "Mountains, Oceans and Elephants" features none other than Baeble bud, Ben Kweller at the helm. Not only that, it comes with some interesting images to accompany the lazy, hazy acoustic jangle of the track, which we're premiering on the site today. Have a look below.

John Singer Sergeant: The Music and Words of John Dufilho is available now via Kirtland Records.
