Apparently Daft Punk weren't the only French electronic group hiding away in a studio, unbeknownst to their fervent fan base, waiting on the perfect moment to stage a most triumphant comeback of sorts. Yesterday brought word of the return of Telepopmusik; the down tempo duo behind the percolated, slightly jazzy mid 2000s classic, "Breathe". Try Me Anyway / Fever is just a teaser, hinting at the possibilities of the group's first album in eight years (due out later this year). But the vibe here is as familiar as ever: a calming, warm wash of water that seduces with its surprising showcase of New York-based singer, Betty Black (who we ran into years ago). Have a listen to "Fever" HERE, check out the remix treatment below, and keep your eyes and ears on the site for more news of what will be a highly anticipated album release around these parts.
