Annie Clark has finally announced a new St. Vincent
tour, which will begin this fall. The news was confirmed in a hilariously soft-spoken video (I guess it's the season for funny announcement videos, since Queens of the Stone Age had their own last week
). The tour will be dubbed the "Fear the Future Tour." Could this also be the title to her new album (which has been highly anticipated since her excellent self-titled release
in 2014)? Who knows, but either way fans should be excited, because it's due out later this year.
Clark is known for her extravagant personality (her new twitter icon even features her wearing a bejeweled belt that reads "extravagant"), as well as her intricately crafted live performances, which are often fully choreographed. And, if the promotional material for her new tour are any indication, her new image will be awash in bright pinks and greens.
Check out all the dates for her tour on her website
. She'll be performing in a variety of locations all over the world, including Tokyo, Dublin, Berlin, Detroit, Nashville, and Brooklyn.
