Yeah Yeah Yeahs Shot a Video Atop the Empire State Building

    On Monday, Yeah Yeah Yeahs will make history when they premiere their "Despair" music video which was the first ever filmed atop the Empire State Building. According to the New York Times, the band was approved to film by Anthony E. Malkin, the building's operator, who said that they weren't the first band to inquire, but they were the first to meet the requirements.

    Unlike most videos where groups lip sync, NYT reports that the band actually performed on the roof, but Malkin didn't think they really had to worry about their neighbors.

    The video is set to premiere Monday on Noisey, and you can watch a teaser below.
