Things are about to get weird, people. And probably crazysickrad. The ineffable Yoko Ono is teaming up with Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth. They'll be releasing a six track CD on September 25th. It's called YOKOKIMTHURSTON, cause, really, why not?

They just released a 14-minute long single, but since they're pretty much gods of the rock and art house worlds, you have to pay up, you cheapskates. You can listen to a quick sample, which hints at some cool noise rock awesomeness. (Have I mentioned that I'm excited??)

You gossips out there are probably wondering what that means about Moore and Gordon's recent separation in March. No word yet if the concerts, publicity for the album, or just the joys of rock 'n roll will bring them back together -- this ain't the freaking National Enquirer. While you wait, check out Yoko, Kim, and Thurston live at BAM a couple years ago.
