The Australian trio deliver chills, goosebumps, and maybe even a tear or two in this gorgeous, acoustic session.
A quick warning before you watch our newest session with Mansionair
...you will get chills, and possibly goosebumps, maybe even shed a tear or two. The genre-defying, Australian trio stripped down for us, performing three beautiful tracks with just a piano, a few drums, and Jack Froggatt's divine vocals. Although they are a group of multi-instrumentalists, Lachlan Bostock stuck to the piano, Alex Nicholls on the drums, while Froggatt delivered an intimate, silky, effortless vocal performance. His flawless falsetto is like nothing else...it will make you feel things.
The trio began the session with their emotional track titled "Easier", followed by their single "Astronaut", and concluded the session with "Hold Me Down", a track from their first EP in 2015. Now, three years later, the band is almost ready to release their debut album, which they chatted about with us about. The words they used to describe their new record were "honest" and "genuine"...we have no doubt the album will be anything less than that. They also dished on the story behind their Grammy-nominated collaboration with ODESZA, "Line of Site", as well as their creative evolution since the first EP.
The band will be traveling around the country this summer and fall for their U.S. tour, which begins on June 15th and ends October 2nd. If you are planning to attend a show, you can expect to see and hear everything this band has to offer, which is a lot. In the meantime, check out their unique and emotional NEXT session.
