A while back, we included Glastonbury in our list of 6 Unique Festivals Worth Traveling to in 2016 and with good reason. The festival touts one of the most impressive and diverse lineups we've ever seen. The 2016 edition sports major headlining acts like Muse, Adele, Coldplay, Tame Impala, Beck, New Order, LCD Soundsystem, and Sigur Ros, as well as once in a lifetime live performances like Damon Albarn (of Blur and Gorillaz) performing with a group of Syrian musicians and an orchestral tribute to David Bowie, conducted by Charles Hazlewood; who will perform composer Philip Glass 1996 classical work 'Heroes Symphony, based on Bowies 1977 album Heroes and will be accompanied by a light show designed by artist Chris Levine.

Festival organizers also announced the release of the first Glastonbury Live album, comprised of performances from many of the featured acts. Profits from 'Glastonbury Live go to Oxfams new Refugee Crisis Appeal, which puts pressure on world leaders to welcome more refugees. Way to go Glastonbury festival! We can always get behind good music for a good cause!
