Bonnie Raitt, Indigo Girls, Natalie Merchant, Michael Franti, Meshell Ndegeocello, John Butler, and more have taken their activism to their music in Buy This Fracking Album, an album dedicated to fighting back against fracking. Fracking, the process of drilling in order to gain access to fossil energy, has become one of the major environmental issues of our time due to the horrifying impact it has on the environment, including the water we drink and the air we breathe. The proceeds of this 24-track album will go to a variety of anti-fracking organizations. Hopefully, Buy This Fracking Album will both raise awareness for its message while also helping fund the anti-fracking movement.

As Michael Franti says of his own track on the album, "These days images of our planet are so common that we often overlook how precious and beautiful it is. I wrote this song as a reminder of the importance of all of us being stewards of our planet, keeping it healthy for the next generations."

Be sure to pre-order the record here before it releases on June 23rd.
