Wild Nothing hit us with a whole lot of info today. First, Nocturne, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Gemini will be released on 8/28. This sophomore album promises to show a different side of Wild Nothing -- this one is a full-band effort, opposed to Gemini, which Jack Tatum wrote and recorded by himself.

Giving us a little preview, Wild Nothing has also released the album's first single, "Shadow," today. The song is undoubtedly a Wild Nothing track, with the romanticism and 80's pop influences still intact. "Shadow," hopefully an indication for the rest of Nocturne, will be released on 7" vinyl on 6/26 with the song "Feel You Now" as the B-side.

And finally, Wild Nothing is also going on tour with Beach House. How about that for a lineup? You can see it all -- Nocturne's tracklisting, the band's tour dates, and the single "Shadow" -- below.
