"Sway in the Morning" on Sirius XM's Shade 45 is known for its excellent guest appearances and corresponding freestyles. The amount of guests on the long-time rapper's show feels incessant, but here is a list of my favorite and what I think are the best guest freestyles on the show, which should save you some time on YouTube. Get ready for bars.

    5. Danny Brown

Danny is a national treasure, from his high pitched laugh to his relentlessly suggestive bars. Brown opens with "Codeine in my cereal / Always behind a smokey, I'm sorta like a miracle" and continues with his split personality on the rest of his opening verse from his 2013 Old standout "Red 2 Go."

    4. Schoolboy Q

Schoolboy's off-the-dome verses here are eclectic. Q's lyrics are unrelenting with "I'm suicide to the children / I speak crimes to the millions," but his closing fifth verse has the studio laughing as he pokes fun as Sway and his signature hat ("You know how I always get up on you and that same damn hat").

    3. Vince Staples

"Never let no white girl call me by my slave name," says the Long Beach rapper as he goes off-the-top on a number of topics including Joey Fatts, Barack Obama, and his world travels. Watch them chuckle as Vince admits that he shouldn't rap about his ex-girlfriends, a topic proposed by Sway.

    2. Joey Bada$$

Joey Bada$$ is only 22 years old, but he spits like a seasoned veteran. Since his 1999 mixtape which dropped in 2012, Joey has had multiple critical and popular successes. However, on these six improvised verses, Joey throws serious shade at Troy Ave for taking shots at Joey and his good friend Capital Steez who committed suicide in 2012.

    1. King Los

"He's on steroids" according to Vince Staples. King Los has never had too much commercial success, but that does not disqualify him as a rapper. He is a wordsmith, receiving praise from Kendrick Lamar and Sway as he calls this freestyle the best of 2015. To this day, it's the best of the Sway In the Morning freestyles. Sway shouts a plethora of topics, and when the King spontaneously rhymes Catholicism with "college wisdom," just watch Sway's eyes light up as if he had just seen a murder.
