    In some ways, the thematic struggle for survival in Treme and Game of Thrones parallel, but we highly doubt Davis McAlary would ever make it in Westeros. Maybe a little music will help us bridge more connections between the two HBO series. The Swamp Donkeys, a small New Orleans-based group who play traditional jazz as well as modern jazz adaptations, recently performed a lively NOLA-style rendition of our favorite epic theme song at the legendary B.B. King's Blues Club in NYC. Watch the jovial performance below.
