The Ethereal Prog Pop of Looming

Here's a pitch I never knew I needed in my life. "What if Nanna from Of Monsters and Men was part of a prog-hard rock act?" That might sound somewhat ridiculous but that's just what we have in Looming. We're premiering the Illinois prog-poppers track, "Output," and if vocalist Jessica Knight doesn't officially have one of the most unique voices in pop-rock, I don't know who does.

Jessica Knight's ethereal, almost otherworldly voice anchors the explosive track with its complex rhythms, intricate guitar work, and general head-banging intensity. I can't overstate how I've never quite heard a voice like hers in rock. The closest equivalent is Of Monster and Men's Nanna but what if Nanna were metal as f***. This is the sort of track that you have to hear yourself to believe, but for fans of prog, it's the definition of can't miss.

You can pre-order the record, Nailbiter, here and be sure to check out the band's tour dates below the track.
