Seattle native Jaymes Young
made his debut back in 2013 with his EP Dark Star,
which was followed up by the ever so pleasant Habits of my Heart
EP a year later. Young has already had multiple hits before the release of his debut album including "I'll Be Good" which has accumulated over 23 million plays on Spotify, nearly beating out his breakthrough collab with Phoebe Ryan, "We Won't," which has close to 28 million, so we're extremely excited to see what's to come from Feel Something
, out on June 23rd.
Today we're premiering the most recent track release from the upcoming album, "Stone," which embodies the emotionality that is found in a great deal of Jaymes' tracks. He pours his heart out in the studio and crafts it in a way that connects him to his listeners through understood experiences and sentiments. Young offers assurance as he sings, "Give me all your pain, and love will set you free. Give me all your shame, put all your weight on me."
This woeful address tugs lightly on all of the right heartstrings. Young told us about the track, "The lyrics to 'Stone' have been with me for a few years, and I'm fairly close to this song. I hope it means as much to you, as it does to me."
