BAEBLE FIRST PLAY: 'Empyrean' by Tora

    When I first heard indie-electronic band Tora's newest song, "Empyrean," I immediately felt like I was living on a different planet. Super smooth synths blaze over minimal percussive details. There's a hint of danceability, but it's still appropriate to listen to before bed. The rising Australian 4-piece told Baeble about the song, "'Empyrean' is a story about the highs and lows of a homeless man in Montreal, who fears the worst when he realizes that winter is coming back. It's one of the more ‘dancy' songs from the album, with quite a lot of experimentation in the production elements. Definitely one of the new songs we are most looking forward to performing live."

    "Empyrean" is off Tora's upcoming debut album Take A Rest (I know I sure will take a rest after listening to this stunning song) and it is set to drop on June 9. They are also embarking on tour, find dates here.
