A DJ, feature vocalist, and collaborator with the likes of Chairlift, Lykke Li, and 12th Planet, KLP (aka Kristy Lee Peters) is going solo, preparing to release her debut EP, Revolution. "Tropical" is the first sunny little gem to prick our ears and it's as equatorial as its title suggests. With flickers of marimba, punched-up brass accents, and a sweaty/sultry kind of chorus, KLP's new single will have you on island time in no time. The video for the tune, which we're premiering here, presents the perfect, seaside outing, captured in soft focus and muted pastel colors. All in all, "Tropical" will have you longing for summer, if and when it ever decides to show.

KLP's Revolution Remixed will be released on Chookie on 14th May, featuring remixes by DCUP, Saarid, The Revenge and James Curd.

For our Australian friends who would like to catch KLP, here are some details about her show this week.
