The Shins have been winning at Music lately, back from a long hiatus with a great new album and a live show that made our correspondent downright giddy. Here's another gem from The Shins: an hour long concert on Los Angeles radio station KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic. The newly christened five-piece plays through songs from Port of Morrow as well as a couple oldie but (very) goodies.

Search to around 11:30 for a great rendition of "Simple Song" with The Watson Twins helping out on backing vocals. The sound quality throughout the show is awesome, and the band's energy is high. The stage banter is kept to a minimum, but KCRW gets an interview with James Mercer at around 21:00 (and Mercer makes a fun jab at Radiohead). Watch Morning Becomes Eclectic below, along with the remaining dates on The Shins tour.
