Recently moving from the bougie downtown area of Jersey City up to the much cheaper real-world of the Heights, I've gone from rubbing elbows with iconic hardcore punk musicians in hip, little dive bars to encountering long dead rappers in the super market. This particular man, who was fortunate enough to mature into a face and physique similar to that of Tupac Shakur, is named Richard Garcia. When recently talking to a neighbor, they described a "Jersey City legend that works at Pathmark who looks a lot like Tupac." After being told so many times that he resembled the slain superstar, Richie supposedly decided it would be in his best interest to get a bunch of shitty replica tattoos to better suit his reputation.
This is Rich Garcia, aka Pathmark Tupac, shitty tattoos and all:
Yup, he's real. And here's a video of the man himself who traveled down to Cancun, Mexico with a shitty entourage to film his own "California Love" music video.
