Some of you might get A$AP Rocky and Aesop Rock confused-- but I'm sure that name choice was just a coincidence, right? Aesop Rock is Underground Hip Hop and he's held that title since the late 90s. Now, after five years, he'll be releasing his fifth solo album Skelthon 7/10. The music video for his first single, "Zero Dark Thirty," exemplifies his underground style and how he's remained stoic and strong within a whirlwind of musical change in hip hop. Watch as Aesop sits still against a wall that is constantly painted over, a sign that he too wants the people to know where he stands (or sits) in the rap game.
