Even when Carly Rae Jepsen
isn't in the middle of an album cycle, she still continues to release some of our favorite pop songs... She just dropped her new song "Cut To The Feeling" which was written during the sessions for her critically-acclaimed 2015 album EMOTION.
It sounds like it'd fit perfectly in line with the album, too -- she sings of wanting to feel all
of the emotion, and the chorus is cathartic as hell with her wild scream and blaring 80s-tinged synths. The song will be featured in The Weinstein Company's upcoming animated movie Leap,
and I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan of animated films, but I'm considering seeing this one for the killer soundtrack. Carly, keep slayin'.
