For anyone who's a fan of Brendon Urie, you've been eagerly awaiting new music from Panic! At the Disco since 2016's Death of a Bachelor, and it's finally here. Pray For The Wicked is due out this summer and the third single from that record arrived today. "High Hopes" is a lush call-to-arms filled with guitar licks and blown-out violins, as per a usual Brendon Urie track.

Brendon does not often get personal in his lyrics--or when he does, they're veiled, or more subtle. This particular tune is decorated in trumpets while Brendon yowls "Shootin' for the stars but I couldn't make a killing / didn't have a dime but I always had a vision". While Urie's life now isn't exactly scraping at the bottom of the barrel, it's always nice to know he had to struggle to get there just like the rest of us mortals.

Pray For The Wicked is due out June 22nd via Fueled by Ramen/DCD2 Records.
