Today we're premiering the new video for "Modern World," a song from Michael Shackelford's latest project, Future Elevators
. Directed by Chris Lawson and with cinematography and editing done by Chris Hilleke, the dreamy video was shot in New Orleans and features its residents grooving around the streets of the Big Easy. As we see close up shots of the strangers, we see hundreds of pairs of eyes flash over their faces, proving that no matter what shape or size, we're all human. It also pushes us to realize that we can see the world from several different perspectives.
"These are real people from New Orleans living in the real world from all different walks of life represented in this video," Shackelford told Baeble. "The directors Hilleke and Lawson really captured the essence and meaning of the song to its full fruition and took it to a new level. I'm immensely proud and grateful for the opportunity to have been able to collaborate with such amazingly talented and beautiful people. Hope you enjoy."
