Okay, so, throwback to literally 5 days ago
when I said that I didn't even want to know what would come next from Travis Scott
after he broke the record for most songs played by a single artist during one show by playing his hit "Goosebumps" 14 times. See, the funny thing about saying you don't want to know something is that it doesn't stop you from finding out - just like it didn't stop me from finding out that the rapper broke the same record AGAIN. This time around, the undeserving crowd had to push through the song for a grand total of 15 times. And again, Kendrick did not grace the stage with his presence to ease the pain.
Travis, literally what are you doing? You are legitimately competing against yourself. There's no fight there! At the Oklahoma City show where the record was first broken, Scott played the track once more just to be sure that there would be no denial of his record-breaking abilities. Now this just seems like overkill, honestly. This is like the equivalent of when you think you saw a bug fly near your face so you start swatting the air but there was never anything there to begin with. Or even better: when you set your alarms to wake up in the morning and close your eyes to go to sleep, but end up checking your alarms an extra 5 times just to be sure that they're all on. I don't think there's a record for the amount of times anyone has broken their own record, but he'd probably try to break that one too. Is there no end to this madness?
