'Get Lucky' with a One-Man Band Daft Punk Cover

    We don't normally post rando Youtube cover videos, but this guy's rendition of Daft Punk's massively hyped first single "Get Lucky" off the soon-to-be-released Random Access Memories caught our attention. George Barnett is a one-man band who knocks Pharrell's role out of the park, all done from the comfort of what seems to be his grandma's den.

    *UPDATE: Barnett tweeted to let us know it was in fact his bedroom, and he apologizes for the mess.



    In other Daft Punk news, an early version of the album's closing track has surfaced. And by 'early', we mean it's over 10 years old. According to FACT, this version of "Contact" featuring DJ Falcon, was first recorded during a 2002 DJ set at Amsterdam's Paradiso by Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter, Cassius and Falcon. There's plenty of speculation that it's fake, because of course there is.
