    Beach Fossils - "Social Jetlag"

Beach Fossils just released two new singles off of their upcoming album Somersault, this one, and "Tangerine" ft. Slowdive's Rachel Goswell, which we featured as our Song of the Day. "Social Jetlag" is exactly the song I needed right now - something calming. It features samples of actual street noises, ambient piano, and even a subdued horn break. It's a really gorgeous piece to listen to.

    POWERS - "Heavy"

This song actually came on my Soundcloud by accident, but it caught my attention as soon as it came on and now it's one of my most played tracked of the week. It's danceable, catchy, and perfect for Friday.

The Drums - "Blood Under My Belt"

The Drums' upcoming album "Abysmal Thoughts" is completely done by frontman Jonny, and judging by the singles, it's sounding pretty good so far.

    Grizzly Bear - "Mourning Sound"

I'm a huge Grizzly Bear fan... As long as they're releasing new music, they'll make my list. I'm happy that we finally get to hear a little bit of Daniel Rossen's voice on this, as opposed to their last single "Three Rings."

    A R I Z O N A - "Electric Touch"

A R I Z O N A just released their debut album GALLERY today, and this is definitely a highlight.

Audioslave - "Shadow on the Sun"

The sad news recently broke that Chris Cornell, lead singer of Audioslave and Soundgarden, has died. Of course we're looking back and listening to our favorite Chris Cornell moments.

    Mondo Cozmo - "Automatic"

Josh Ostrander aka Mondo Cozmo has been one of my favorite musicians ever since I saw him live at The Mercury Lounge this past winter. When I found out that he just released a new song today, I instantly listened. His Bob Dylan-esque vocals, mixed with those signature alarm synths and guitar riffs always make for a feel-good tune.

    Jai Wolf - "Indian Summer"

This song just screams summer, and with all the festivals coming up, I can't help but listen to this electronic masterpiece on repeat.

    Talking Heads - "Psycho Killer"

Selena Gomez just came out with her brand new single, "Bad Liar," which takes samples from Talking Heads' "Psycho Killer." While I like what Selena Gomez did with it, I am still a way bigger fan of the original product.

    Harry Styles - "Kiwi"

Off of his new self-titled album, "Kiwi" officially made me realize that Harry Styles is no longer a teeny bopper pop artist. Maybe it's the straightforward lyrics like, "I'm having your baby," or maybe it's the repetitive 90's rock 'n' roll kick drum. Either way, Harry Styles has turned into a full blown rock star overnight and I love it.

    Perfume Genius - "Queen"

I just saw Mike Hadeas aka Perfume Genius play at Brooklyn Steel on Tuesday and he reiterated the fact that he is meant to be a star. "Queen" off of his album, Too Bright, is his most popular track, with over 9 million plays on Spotify. It was the last song he played on Tuesday, and it couldn't have been a better way to end the night.
