Listed as one of our 13 most highly anticipated summer albums, the sophomore LP of Gainesville quartet Hundred Waters, The Moon Rang Like A Bell, is proving early to be worthy of such praise and placement. The follow-up to their self-titled LP, which was released back in 2012 by Skrillex's OWSLA label solidifies the group, who's led by the enchanting voice of Nicole Miglis, as one of today's true avant-garde acts. Miglis' siren-like influence is only further enhanced by the unpredictable atmosphere that's achieved by her supporting members. And as I expected, this album puts me in the perfect mood for mid-summer night swimming.
