Music's greatest power is being able to transport people to another dimension in a matter of seconds. Don't believe me? Try closing your eyes and listening to a smooth acoustic track without feeling as though you're floating through space and time on a fluffy white cloud. You can't, can you? See. Music gets you lost in the moment and takes your mind away from your troubles and insecurities for just long enough to convince you that everything will be alright with a little faith and time
Musicians Samantha Ronson, Pete Nappi, and Ethan Thompson embody this carefree, feel good vibe in each song they create together as Ocean Park Standoff
. The group formed in Los Angeles back in 2015 and have had their mind set on spreading happiness and positivity in the form of what they call "aggressively uplifting" music ever since. The alternative-pop trio debuted their talents to the world on their self-titled debut EP which features their hit "Good News," which already has well over 7 million plays on Spotify.
This month alone the trio has played Florida's SunFest, California's Wango Tango, as well as James Corden's The Late Late Show. The group is also set to begin touring at the beginning of June. They even found the time in their busy schedule of making the world a better place one guitar strum at a time to stop by Baeble HQ for a delightful acoustic session. Ocean Park Standoff wouldn't be themselves without leaving a smile on the face of everyone they encounter, including us here at Baeble, so before they left they made sure to leave behind their message and goal as a band. Check out their session in order to obtain Ocean Park Standoff's meaningful insight. (I hear it keeps you young forever, just saying.)
