Today's Guest Apartment artist the Mynabirds are bouncing around the country. We thought you might want to catch them when they roll through your hood. Laura Burhenn and her band will spend the month of June running from state to state. Check out the dates after the jump.

What We Lose in the Fire We Gain in the Flood, their debut, was recorded last year in Oregon with singer-songwriter/producer Richard Swift. The two collaborated on much of the writing/recording process, supposedly over whiskey and dancing? It's also worth mentioning the guest list; Orenda Fink (Azure Ray, O+S) and musician/engineer/producer AJ Mogis (Criteria, Monsters of Folk, Tilly and the Wall) lent their voices; Tom Hnatow (These United States) played pedal steel; and Nate Walcott (Bright Eyes) arranged the horns.

What We Lose in the Fire We Gain in the Flood is out now on Saddle Creek. -joe
