Australian singer/songwriter Courtney Barnett
is back with her first release since "Three Packs A Day" in 2016, and it's about - boiling eggs? In a statement released about the new track "How to Boil an Egg," Barnett says that this is a song she has performed live countless times during her open mic days, but never took the time to record it. The song's upbeat tone is sure to get you up and dancing, as long as you don't pay too much attention to the fact that she's singing about feeling useless and reprimanding someone for being selfish. Courtney says she created this version of the song in between demo recording for her upcoming album, of which no details have yet to be released, but if it's anything like her 2015 album, Sometimes I Sit and Think and Sometimes I Just Sit,
it'll be full of hits.
