Earlier this week, Holy Ghost! announced the follow-up to their self-titled debut with a new song
that reminded us how emblematic the DFA Records
sound has become over the past 12 years. It appears that Red Bull Music Academy also recognized this, and decided to produce a 13-minute mini documentary about the iconic New York City label and its history. It's baffling that the enormous music of LCD Soundsystem, The Rapture, and others was curated within such a quaint office space. It gets you all warm and nostalgic to remember a time when fans supported individual labels. On another note, we'd really love to watch a Travel Channel series called "Where In The World Is James Murphy". Somebody should pitch that.
