Throwback Thursdays: The Propulsive Punk Wit Of The Thermals

Portland punk-rockrs The Thermals dropped their seventh studio album, We Disappear, last month. And while that meant Hutch Harris had to at least take a momentary break from his burgeoning stand-up comedy career, that was alright because it meant we were getting new tunes from these seminal alt-punkers.

We didn't have a chance to review We Disappear (we don't do many album reviews these days), but you shouldn't sleep on We Disappear. Hutch Harris and crew are as clever and propulsive as ever, and it got us thinking about the time that we shot the Thermals at the Launch Pad in Austin, TX for SXSW. If you need a little hook driven punk going into this weekend, let The Thermals take you away.
