While the sky turns grey for April showers, we're going to need some new music to help us get through the month. Luckily, Vancouver indie rock group, The New Pornographers, are blessing us all with a new album, Whiteout Conditions. It's set to officially drop this Friday, but you can stream it now via NPR. After a few go's, we can safely say that this a great follow up to their 2014 album, Brill Bruisers.

Every song on the album, with the exception of "We've Been Here Before," and "Second Sleep," is high energy and solidifies their spot under the pop label. It's incredible that a band is able to morph its sound without skipping a beat. In comparison to their past albums, Whiteout Conditions stays upbeat with dark lyrics overlapping the synths. The stand out tracks, "High Ticket Attractions" and "This Is The World of The Theater," have a great flow (not to mention they are just plain catchy).
