Chance The Rapper
is on a roll lately, guys. If you still haven't heard, earlier in March, Chance The Rapper donated $1 million
to Chicago Public Schools and promised to donate an additional $10,000 to each individual school in CPS for every $100,000 raised. On Friday, the Chicago native stopped by Paul Robeson High School to announce that The Chicago Bulls have matched Chance's donation of $1 million.
But that's not all. Chance also announced the creation of the New Chance Arts And Literature Fund, which will identify and donate to Chicago schools that are in need of arts programs. Chance said the total for donations is now up to $2.2 million in his Chicago Public Schools fundraising effort. As he handed the check to the students at Paul Robeson High School, Chance said, "As a parent, and a proud CPS graduate, I'm committed to helping Chicago's children have quality learning experiences and quality in the learning space..." Chance The Rapper just keeps getting better and better.
And just in case you missed it - the opportunity to work for Chance The Rapper
is still up for grabs, too.
