Chicago-based indie group, A Lull, released their latest album Confetti this past month, and have been promoting the album's single "Weapons For War". while the frantically paced, horn-screeching single is one of their great tracks, we've got an alternative MP3 stream from the band for you to treat yourself to today. "Some Love" presents a mildly softer side to the group, while still exposing their percussive preferences towards hectic tapping. The next time you're enjoying a sprint through the Serengeti, make sure to add this tune to your playlist; it definitely has that "I'm running with cheetahs" feel to it.

The vocals excel as they sway in and out of their falsetto harmonies, providing a soothing accent to the lightly frenzied pace of the track. While electronic inflections are evident, they definitely do not overwhelm, but rather combine for a playful concoction of a kicked up chorus and smoothly scintillating verses. Check out the MP3 below, and you can also pick up the full album the song hails from, Confetti, as it is available now.
