This has been the year of collaborating for electronic duo, AlunaGeorge, already teaming up with Flume, Kaytranada, Popcaan, and Jack-U. Yesterday on Zane Lowe's Beat 1, AlunaGeorge released a new song, "My Blood" with electronic producer/singer, Zhu, which will be including on AlunaGeorge's sophomore album (which still doesn't have a set release date).

"My Blood" is a slow-burning, hip-hop influenced track with some wailing electronic sounds from Zhu. The video stars Aluna Francis in a hazy, dark lit bedroom as she uses her smooth vocals to project the pain one goes through when a love walks away. When Zane Lowe asked Aluna Francis how the collaboration with Zhu came about, she said she heard the song "Fader" and went straight to the internet to find out how she could meet Zhu. They happened to be at the same music festival and started working together on a song Zhu released last September featuring AlunaGeorge called "Automatic." Zhu decided to return the favor by working with AlunaGeorge on "My Blood," which is AlunaGeorge's third single released from their forthcoming album and it's definitely the most promising one yet.
