For all of you Robyn fanatics out there, the Swedish TV station, Sveriges Television, has compiled a one hour music special this month that documents the celebrated girl-wonder. Yes, it is in Swedish. But don't worry because there are English subtitles provided, which are easy enough to follow and well worth watching to get an intricate look at the strength and perserverance that Robyn demonstrates in her music, and seen in this documentary, in the rest of her life as well.
Even amongst all of her accomplishments, the special reveals that the singer suffers from basic insecurities just like the rest of us, including a hesitation to fully show herself for fear of rejection. But her determination and resolve tend to beat out these worries, examining the tremendous amount of growth she has accomplished. The clips encompass many areas of her life, glimpsing back to her early stardom, intersected with reflective interviews from today. It provides an intimate look at the long journey Robyn has taken to get to where she is and is definitely worth checking out.
