In honor of their upcoming album, Satan's Graffiti or God's Art?
, which is coming out next month, we're throwing it back to our live concert with Black Lips
at McCarren Park in Brooklyn. The dash of craziness along with "5th Black Lip" King Khan in a golden Tina Turner dress can be deceiving because when it comes down to it, it's really just good old rock 'n' roll. It's a great concert to get down to and we can vouch for that, since we personally experienced it under the beating summer sun ourselves. The raw garage-punk genre will never get old, and despite the goofy visual, we can appreciate this straight up fun music that Black Lips have to offer. Be on the look out for the follow up to their 2014 album too, which drops on May 5th via Vice Records.
