Pink Floyd's David Gilmour Pays Tribute To Prince

As much as we talk about Roger Waters when we discuss Pink Floyd, any conversation about the greatness of that band that doesn't include the absurd guitar skill of David Gilmour is moot. In fact, it might actually be safe to argue that Gilmour is more integral to the classic Pink Floyd sound than Roger Waters was. Either way, Gilmour is one of the greatest guitarists of the last 50 years and he paid tribute to a fellow candidate for that title, Prince, by mashing up "Comfortably Numb" and "Purple Rain" at a show over the weekend. You can judge for yourself if the tribute is fitting above.
