Late Night: President Barack Obama

Did President Barack Obama finally have his "playing the saxophone on The Arsenio Hall Show" moment? Probably not, but his surprise appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon is already cementing his reputation as one of the hippest and most media savvy presidents ever. For those that aren't regular Fallon viewers, he has a recurring segment where Fallon, his studio band (none other than the legendary Roots), and a guest "slow jam" the news like it's a Barry White song. Well, who's more appropriate for that gig than the President (who went by Barry when he was younger) as he made a plea for Congress to take action against doubling the interest rates on federal student loans. As one of the students this law would effect, I appreciate both the content of the President's message as well as his ability to do something as cool as this. Stick around til the very end for his perfectly timed mic drop like he's an old performing pro. Something tells me that a hypothetical President Mitt Romney would never do something like this...
