AraabMuzik has always been dope. Besides producing for the likes of legendary hip-hop artists like Dipset, A$AP Mob and 50 Cent, the producer is also making waves in the EDM community as of late. The producer, following the footsteps of other notable names in the industry, is carving a niche for himself as a solo artist as beat making is becoming an art form in itself. Now we have the first glimpse to the follow up to AraabMuzik's 2011 debut LP Electronic Dream.
"Day Dreams" finds the 'MVP of the MPC' doing his thing to astounding results. With a definite dance vibe attached coupled with distant female vocal samples, the song is already a massive summer anthem waiting to be heard. The drums are decidedly trap which shows AraabMuzik is not only self-aware, but smart. Working his bread and butter masterfully as expected, the real treat comes in the form of his manipulation of the synthesizer. Every note will have your feet kicking out in different directions as you try to keep up with the chaotic beat. The drums are so fast and well programmed you would think they're actually coming way slower. This is the kind of beat you get lost in your headphones to and end up at your destination before you know it.
The video is no joke either. With random visual experiences flashing before your eyes, intercut with a live shot of AraabMuzik ripping through a DJ set, you get the idea this is the crazy imagery he has in his head while playing and/or writing these songs. The video is a trip just like the music and it will leave you wanting more. With a new album on the way, I say job well done.
