Why does every artist have to drop their album on the same day? For us listeners, it's a challenge to catch up with every new release, especially when it's several different releases from all really exciting artists. So to cut through the noise and make sure you have all of your ducks in a row, we're briefly rounding up the most important albums to listen to this week.
1. Kimbra - Primal Heart
This is a moment we have been anticipating for a very
long time. Kimbra's new album was originally supposed to drop a while ago but then got pushed back, making fans cry even louder. However, today is the day, and the New Zealand singer is back with a ton of new songs to offer. We also just dropped one of our most moody sessions ever - with Kimbra - which you can enjoy HERE.
"Everybody Knows," "Human," "Version Of Me"
2. Bishop Briggs - Church Of Scars
And speaking of albums we've been anticipating... Here's another one. The lovable soul-pop singer is finally out with her debut after making the rounds with her wildly popular breakout hits "River" and "Wild Horses."
MUST LISTENS: "Dream," "White Flag," "The Fire"
3. J. Cole - KOD
J. Cole only announced the follow up to his 2016 album 4 Your Eyez Only a few days ago, but it doesn't matter. It suddenly became one of our most anticipated records of 2018. The album cover reads, "This album is in no way intended to glorify addiction."
MUST LISTENS: "The Cut Off (ft. kiLL edward)"
