    After reporting on the completely unlikely release of Feistodon, the split single between baroque pop artist Feist and sludge metal pioneers Mastodon, we're happy to say the songs have surfaced online. What you get on this single is Fiest covering Mastodon's "Black Tongue" and Mastodon turning in a rendition of Feist's Metals standout, "A Commotion." Feist is always wonderful and if you're a fan of alt metal than you already know Mastodon are the cream of their crop. So guess what everybody? The songs are actually pretty good. Feist finds her inner-proto, industrial rock siren on "Black Tongue" and Mastodon explores grunge and classic rock guitar riffs to make "A Commotion" an explosive and propulsive head-banger.
