I never really looked at Miami as a magical place. I remember when I was seven years old I took a trip to Disney World with my family - and I know that's not Miami - but that was pretty cool. Besides that, I never really looked at Florida as some sweet, song-worthy land, more of just a quick getaway for people stuck on the east coat. However Nashville-based indie rockers Jet Black Alley Cat
is making me rethink this whole notion, and now I'm thinking maybe Miami is
a land of wonder. At least they seem to think so. I mean, if the place is anything like their brand new song, "Miami Baby," which we're premiering here today, it sounds pretty great. With vocalist Joe Wilkinson's passionate delivery and energizing guitar riffs, the sparkling ode will undoubtedly have you feel like you're falling in love.
The band told us more about the track, "Such excitement to finally release 'Miami Baby'. Our band has a special relationship with the city, its culture, and sense of independence and youthful uprising that comes along with being in Miami. This track has been one of our favorites to write and record. We believe it is a tone setter for all that is to come on the EP to follow." "Miami Baby" is off of their forthcoming concept EP, MOTEL.
