The Arctic Monkeys take their psychedelic themes seriously in the new video for their single "Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair" from the upcoming album Suck It and See. The drawn out and lightly accented vocals, shaggy hair, and ever-present sunglasses of vocalist Alex Turner provide us with an uncanny Liam Gallagher impersonation. The rest of the band also do an excellent job of looking like uber cool rock stars who don't give a f*ck as they stand around with their hands in their pockets and perform to an empty concert hall as their images are blurred into colorful smears. But the highlight for me is when they do the macarena.

The video definitely captures the dark groove behind the track, even though it is mainly just a mashup of unrelated clips and kaleidascope colors. Is it about soccer? Is it about cars? Is it about rainbows? You decide; watch the Arctic Monkey's new video for "Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair" below.

Suck It and See will be out on June 7th.
