Australian indie-rockers Temper Trap have finally released the details of their third studio album, Thick as Thieves, that'll be out on June 10th. To celebrate the news, the Melbourne-natives have released a single from the forthcoming album, "Falling Together.". Instead of the band's usual heavy electronic/pop rock-centric sounds, they opted for an equal balance between triumphant electronics and instruments which is pretty spot-on to what the band explained their new album as being "filled with hope, raw energy and a passion that reminds us of our early days in the band."
Collaborators on the record include Ben Allen (Animal Collective, Deerhunter), Pascal Gabriel (Ladyhawke, Goldfrapp) and Malay, who was the co-writer and producer of Frank Ocean's Channel Orange. Thick as Thieves will be the band's first album since lead guitarist, Lorenzo Sillitto, parted ways to "try new things."
