Danger Mouse is one half of a lot of duos, but this project with Daniele Luppi is nearly five years in the making and one of the more interesting match-ups. Inspired by "Italian spaghetti western music", and a penchant for black and white shots of the desert, the two created Two Against One, an album of highly stylized tunes. Together they've wrangled in a few guest stars to assist in their efforts, including Jack White and Norah Jones. Hear a few stand-offs below, and watch a trailer as well (no old-timey piano soundtrack, we promise).

And finally, hear Brian Burton and Daniele Luppi discuss the inspiration for the project.

Two Against One is due May 17th via Capitol Records.
