We have to give credit where credit's due. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs
is one of the most ridiculous/awesome stage names ever. DJ/Producer Orlando Higginbottom (the man behind the TEED moniker) has announced his debut album, Trouble
, coming out 6/12. TEED's particular blend of rave music shies away from most of the conventions plaguing the world currently known as "bro-step" (Skrillex and his kin), and while there is plenty of bass, TEED's rhythms and shimmering synths have a lot more than just a "wub wub wub" going for him. Check out the video for "Tapes and Money" where Higginbottom dons a massive headdress (cause you go H.A.M. or you go home) and leads a rave that looks like it came right out of that Zion party in The Matrix Reloaded
(sans any naked Keanu Reeves).
We've also got Trouble
's tracklisting for any hardcore TEED fans who think they may recognize some of the tracks that made the cut.
